I am on page 30 of my new book that I am reading called "When the Moon Split (A Biography of Prophet Muhammad)". Note that I am not a Muslim, but that I am a Christian Methodist. The reason that I am reading this book is because my friend from work is a Muslim and i want to learn more about Islam. I also wanted to read the book because it gives background of Islam. And during this time and date, it is not a bad idea to learn more about them. I have talked to my friend and found that Islam and Christianity are not that far different from each other. One of the main differences is that they preach that Jesus is just a Prophet like Muhammad, and not the son of God. Christianity has the Bible and Islam has the Quran. Both books talk about life and works of Jesus. Muslims see Christians as altered while Christians see Islam to be a different fabrication. Both religions believe in the virgin birth but the Biblical and Islamic accounts differ. Islam also views that Ishmael is the true son of Abraham while Jews view that Isaac is the true son.
